The candidates taking part in Azerbaijan’s parliamentary election will on Oct. 9 start their election campaigns.
The election campaign can be carried out by the registered candidates, their authorized representatives and delegates, political parties, blocs of parties, and their authorized representatives and delegates, according to a planned schedule approved by Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission.
The country’s election code stipulates that the candidates’ campaigns should start 23 days before the election day and end 24 hours before voting starts.
Azerbaijan will hold its parliamentary election Nov. 1.
