“Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents acknowledged at the recent meeting that the dialogue is important. Therefore, Minsk Group hopes that the conflict sides will stay out of violence and the negotiations in 2016 will continue at a more positive atmosphre”, US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said in an interview in connection with the presidents’ Bern meeting.
APA reports quoting armenianreport.com website that the co-chair noted that there are several proposals: “The meeting of presidents demonstrate that the sides intend to solve the problem peacefully.
Though no agreement was reached at the meeting, they expressed concern about recent violence, particularly casualties from civilians. The presidents acknowledged that the dialogue is important.
Therefore, the co-chairs hope a new meeting between them will be held next year. We also want to to create condition for dialogue among communities of Nagorno Karabakh”.
