The management of Montenegro’s Tivat Airport apologized with regard to an error when specifying a flight to Baku, Hikmet Hajiyev, the head of the press service of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, told Trend August 25.
Hajiyev said Azerbaijani citizens addressed the country’s foreign ministry with regard to Yerevan being mistakenly listed as the city of arrival on the information board instead of Baku, before a charter flight from the Tivat Airport.
This caused a justified discontent of Azerbaijani nationals, said Hajiyev.
He added that despite the Azerbaijani citizens immediately appealed to the airport’s representatives, showing them the mistake, no corrections were made on the information board.
