The official opening ceremony of Azerbaijan’s Open United Gymnastics Championship was held in Baku on March 4.

Around 133 gymnasts from 22 countries will compete for medals both in the all-around and the individual competitions.

President of the European Unìon of Gymnastics Georges Guelzec and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Ismayil Ismayilov spoke in the opening ceremony.

Then the anthem of Azerbaijan was performed.
