There will not be any oligarchs in Ukraine, Ukraine’s President Pyotr Poroshenko said on Saturday in the Black Sea port of Odessa presenting Georgia’s former president Mikhail Saakashvili as a newly-appointed governor of the Odessa region, APA reports quoting TASS.
"There will be no more oligarchs in Ukraine," Poroshenko said adding that "oligarchs must pay more [taxes] that the middle class and more than small business."
The president underscored that "the programme of de-oligarchization will be put into life" while listing the tasks he had set before "Ukraine’s big friend Mikhail Saakashvili.".
