As part of the Days of Azerbaijan in Cannes, the first lady of Azerbaijan, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met the former mayor of Cannes, deputy of the National Assembly of France Bernard Brochand.

According to AzerTag, while expressing deep satisfaction with one more meeting with the first lady of Azerbaijan in Cannes, Bernard Brochand stressed the importance of the Days of Azerbaijani culture organized this year and noted that, just like last year, they were held on the high level.

He noted that he welcomes the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in this sphere and highly praised the events held by the Foundation in different regions and cities of France.

On her part, the first lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva highly praised Brochand’s role in forming the tradition of holding the Days of Azerbaijani culture in Cannes.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on prospects of future cooperation.
